The bunker complex was build by the Dutch Ministry of Defense in 1955 in order to survive a nuclear war.
In total over € 250 000 000.- was spend to realize this nuclear resistant bunker.
When the cold war was over the Ministry of Defense decided to sell the bunker.

Currently CyberBunker including it's 10 000M2 surrounding forest is the property of the CyberBunker Foundation.
