What is CyberBunker? CyberBunker is a former military nuclear warfare bunker that is currently utilized as bulletproof datacenter. When did CyberBunker start? The bunker was sold by the military in 1996. In 1998 the renovation was completed and in 2000 CyberBunker started hosting its first customers. Where is CyberBunker located? Cyberbunker is located in the Netherlands. Just select 'Bunker' and 'Location' from the menu above for more details. Can I trust CyberBunker? CyberBunker is one of the most trustworthy datacenters in the world. Please feel free to google for customer complaints. You do not find any because there aren't any. The only thing you may find are others that are complaining about CyberBunker's clients. Well, what should we say about that? I read a lot of bad things about CyberBunker. Doesn't that bother you? There is no such thing as bad publicity. The more they write about us, the better. Howerver you should not believe everything they say. Why does all CyberBunker staff drive a BMW X6? Are you guys sponsored by BMW? CyberBunker is not sponsored by BMW. BMW model X6 is CyberBunker's preferred company car. Most of CyberBunker's staff got one. The cars are actually not theirs but employees are able to use the beamers as if they were theirs. Do you have any job offers? Just send us a motivated email with your credentials and we will see how we go from there. We do not offer high wages nor a convenient 9 till 5 job. You may need to adapt to a bunker style of living. Is it true that there are rabbits around the bunker? Yes, there are plenty of them. The rabbits obviously like the tranquility of the bunker area because there numbers seem to increase every year. I want to become a reseller of your products. Is that possible? Yes, just send us an email with your credentials. If we accept you then there will be a good commission on anything you sell. When there is a SWAT team in front of the bunker, how do you guys get in? The staff is able to stay in the bunker for an indefinite period of time. In addition, CyberBunker has several uncharted tunnels that can be used to enter or exit the bunker in case of an emergency. I have read that your server room is a decoy. What does that mean? The server room at ground level was intended to be a decoy in the event that something may happen. However such an event never occurred so we decided to declassify the decoy. The server room still houses non critical servers. The servers hosted there are harmless. The real client server rooms are located on levels -3 till -5. What happens with my data if I decide not to host with you anymore? For security reasons CyberBunker adopted a policy to physically destroy all HDDs after use. So if you have a dedicated server then your hard disk drives will be shreddered. However if you have a VPS then your entire server will be deleted. Are there more CyberBunkers? Yes, there are several CyberBunker's located in various countries. The one in the Netherlands is the most popular. The other bunkers are cold war era nuclear bunkers as well and are used as bulletproof datacenters too. We try to keep the location of the other bunkers secret.
